• About a 3-minute walk from Onarimon Station on the Toei Subway Mita Line. This is the closest station to Zojoji Temple and is a highly recommended route for a smooth access while enjoying the lush, green atmosphere of Shiba Park from the very start.
• About a 5-minute walk from Daimon Station on the Toei Subway Asakusa Line and Oedo Line. When you come up to the surface from Exit A6, Daimon, the main gate of Zojoji Temple, will appear right in front of you. This is the classic route where you pass through the historic gate and walk straight down the approach towards the main hall.
• About a 10-minute walk from Hamamatsucho Station on the JR Line and Tokyo Monorail. A very straightforward and easy-to-understand route where simply walk straight out of the North Exit. It offers excellent access from Haneda Airport and Shinkansen bullet train stations, making it perfect as a starting point for your Tokyo sightseeing.

When accessing from JR Hamamatsucho Station or Daimon Station on the Oedo Line, you will pass through the Zojoji Temple Daimon Gate. This main gate is even larger and more magnificent than it appears, making it highly worth seeing, so taking this route is also highly recommended.

With a beautiful contrast between the blue ocean stretching out before your eyes and the lush lawns and trees, this is one of Yokohama’s premier healing spots. Just sitting on a bench while feeling the pleasant sea breeze or relaxing on the grass allows you to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and refresh yourself.

The Impactful Important Cultural Property “Hikawa Maru,” Passing Down the History of Yokohama Port to the Present

Its large hull floating on the sea catches the eye, making it the symbolic presence of Yamashita Park. You can look up at this luxury liner—once praised as the “Queen of the North Pacific”—from right up close, and you can fully enjoy its overwhelming sense of scale just by walking nearby. It is also possible to go inside and tour the luxurious guest rooms and pilot house from those days (admission fee required).

Note: Closed on Mondays (or the following day if Monday is a national holiday).

The closest is “Motomachi-Chukagai Station” on the Minato Mirai Line, which is about a 3-minute walk from Exit 4 (Marine Tower Exit). Additionally, it takes about 15 minutes on foot from both “Kannai Station” and “Ishikawacho Station” on the JR Negishi Line, passing by Yokohama Stadium or Chinatown along the way.

If you use the Minato Mirai Line from the major terminal “Yokohama Station,” you can travel smoothly to the nearest station in a riding time of about 8 minutes.

Located on the 2nd floor of the commercial facility “Yokohama Hakurankan,” this popular spot is free to enter and easy to drop by. In addition to watching the manufacturing process through the glass, you can taste warm, fragrant, “freshly made Baby Star” ramen snacks right on the spot.

The shop is lined with special Baby Star snacks in limited Yokohama Chinatown packaging and unique original goods that can only be obtained here.

Located in Yamashitacho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, it can be accessed on foot from multiple surrounding stations.

The closest is “Motomachi-Chukagai Station” on the Minato Mirai Line, which is located right in front of you—just a 1-minute walk from Exit 1. It also takes about a 5-minute walk from “Ishikawacho Station (Chinatown Exit)” on the JR Negishi and Keihin-Tohoku Lines, and about a 7-minute walk toward the Yokohama Stadium direction from “Kannai Station” on the JR and Yokohama City Subway lines.

If you are not fond of walking, a taxi is also recommended. We recommend boarding from JR “Sakuragicho Station” and telling the driver, “Pass the Choyomon (East Gate) of Chinatown and drop me off near the Yamashita-Koen-mae intersection.” This drops you off just before the main street, taking about 10 minutes for the ride and costing around 1,500 yen.
