The interior of “Hiratsuka Jingisukan” is spacious, so if you avoid the daytime lunch rush, you can enter quite easily. At night, it is bustling with many customers, especially groups, so a “solo diner” might hesitate a bit to charge in. However, if you skip the daytime lunch hours, there are only a few customers eating alone at counter seats or perhaps a couple of pairs/friends, making it unexpectedly easy to enter.

While sitting comfortably in the spacious interior is fine, sitting at the edge of the counter when dining solo is also relaxing. The “counter” seats where you can concentrate on eating are special.

Super Great-Value Grand Menu at “Hiratsuka Jingisukan”

Among the menu options at “Hiratsuka Jingisukan,” the recommended choice is the Comparison Set. This is a special menu item that can only be ordered once upon first taking your seat; if you order even a single other menu item beforehand, you can no longer select this menu.

Here, we definitely want you to order Set A. It is a volume that even a solo diner can fully eat, yet offers a high level of satisfaction. It is great that Jingisukan can be eaten unexpectedly refreshingly.

While ordering top-notch, premium menu items, the 1,300 JPY all-you-can-drink option is seriously divine! If you drink two beers and one other drink, it is already a great-value menu option.

The lemon sour with a whole frozen lemon inside is awesome! Cold, crisp alcohol is truly delicious after all.

It’s snowing heavily outside in Hokkaido! The scenery looks amazing, but Sapporo’s snow can get a little dirty from cars and foot traffic on the roads. So don’t even think about diving into the snow like a kid!

Thoroughly Enjoying the Main Attraction “Jingisukan”

When you see it for the first time, you might wonder, “How on earth do you grill meat on this?!” The grill pan, shaped like an iron helmet, looks unusual at first, but you quickly get the hang of using it. Soon, you’ll find yourself arranging the vegetables around the edges.

Just be careful not to add too many vegetables—otherwise, there won’t be enough space left to grill the lamb!

Once the meat is safely on the grill, the fun begins: grill, eat, grill, eat, and repeat! The premium meat included in Set A is incredibly delicious.

Even with Set A, feeling a little unsatisfied, what was ordered for seconds was vegetables! Cabbage dipped in Jingisukan sauce is the absolute best.
